About me
Hi there! My name is Guy Mitchell-Dwelly and I worked as a Designer/Illustrator for most of my career. I studied at Garth Hill College in Bracknell, Berkshire, Reading College of Art & design and South Hill Park Arts Centre. I won an athletic scholarship to Memphis State University in the US competing over 1500m, 5000m, 3000m Steeplechase and Cross-Country. Since moving to South West Cornwall, I have begun to re-cycle as much debris from the shoreline as possible, whether it be wooden crates, ropes, driftwood, shells or seaweed. Working as a freelance illustrator, designer and calligrapher for several decades, I am now inspired by the rugged coastline of The Lizard and surrounding Cornish coves and inlets to create lasting memories of holidays and days out at the beach through authentic crafted gifts.
